and is listed in the National Register. Sit on an oversized rocker on the

Lynnville Historical Museum

The Lynnville Railroad Museum is built around our 1927 "Prairie type" 2-6-2 Baldwin Steam Locomotive, acquired in 1997.  This 97 ton Iron Horse was one of 8 identical locomotives built in Lima, Ohio in the 20's.  Boiler 59760, built in 27' was one of 2 identical engines built for the St. Louis & O'Fallon Railroad to haul coal and ore from area mines to St. Louis Steel Mills.
