Mayor:

Troy Hood was an alderman and then was elected Mayor in 2005.

Troy works full time at Nissan. He is married and has 2 children.

Alderman & Vice Mayor:

Robert White has been a resident of Lynnville for 25 years.

He is married and has a son. Robert is retired. He was elected in 2005.

Robert is also a former Marine

Aldermen:

Charles Jett was appointed in 2006. He had been elected from 1971 - early 1990's Charles is retired from Graph Tech where he was employed for 36 years Charles has lived in Lynnville his entire life. Charles is divorced with 2 children ages 28 and 26.

Jim Green  is an outstanding artist. He is married and was appointed in 2005.

Jim is also the owner of Lynnville School of Art

Brad Lowry was elected in 2005. Brad has lived in Lynnville all his life.

He is married with 1 child.

Dana Tolle was appointed to Alder-person in 2008.  Dana and Daniel,  her
husband,  moved to Lynnville a little over a year ago to start their own Bed
and Breakfast business.  " We decided to look at the town one day and just
fell in love with it".  "I am looking forward to serving on the board and
making a positive impact on our community"  "Lynnville is not just a place
to live, it is my home."

Chief Of Police:  Duane T Jones

Duane became Lynnville's Police Chief in July 2007. He brings 35 years of law enforcement experience to this community. He retired as a captain in detectives from the east Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

City Recorder: Dee Dee Owens

 

Dee Dee Came to Lynnville in November 2007. She brings 16 years of accounting experience to Lynnville. She is on two community boards in Marshall county for Cornersville as well.  She has had the experience of owning her own business. She is a devoted wife and mother of 4 children.

Tourism Director: Tim Turner

At the present time Tim is working as the Tourism Director of Giles County.

Water Superintendent

Adam Ray is Married and has 2 children.
