"Striving to be the best small town in America"

The Lynnville Line

Take a look at Lynnville's new newsletter! This is in effort to keep our citizens informed, encouraged and united.  The newsletter will be a monthly edition and we hope to fill it with entertaining information.  Our goal is to have a community spotlight each month on a special story or citizen.  We will also keep you up-to-date on any events, meetings and things that are of interest going on in the Lynnville community.  If you have a story that you would like to share, a citizen you would like to recognize, or an event you would like to have published, please just give us a call at City Hall (931) 527-3158.

Welcome To Our New Secretary

The City of Lynnville would like to introduce our new Secretary, Dawn Baron.  Dawn is a great asset to City Hall.  Her main focus is the Water Department.  She will be answering your calls and questions concerning your water bills as well as taking your payments.  She will also be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays enabling City Hall to be open Monday through Friday instead of only three days a week.  Dawn has lived in Lynnville since 2014 and she has grown to love the town of Lynnville.  Feel free to stop in to say hello and introduce yourself to Dawn.

Lynnville Hires New Police Chief

Chief Steve Jones was hired in January to serve and protect our community.  Chief Jones is retired from the Maury County Sheriff's Department where he has served for the past 17 years.  The phone number for the Lynnville Police Department is  (931) 527-0088.  The City Police cell phone number is (931) 922-1646.  If you can't reach Chief Jones on either of these numbers and you are having an emergency - always dial 911.  Otherwise, you can call City Hall at (931) 527-3158.

Lynnville Calls For Volunteers

Spring is on the horizon and that means it is going to be the time for Spring cleaning around the beautiful town of Lynnville.  There are many projects that need to be worked on but the workers are few.  There is a list of beautification projects in City Hall which range from painting, light carpentry work, basic cleaning, etc.  There are projects for every skill level.  Working together towards one goal always helps us feel involved and connected to our  community.  This would also be a great opportunity for any students who are looking to fulfill community service hours for the Tennessee Promise Program.  If you would like to find out about some of the project work we have available, please feel free to stop by City Hall or give us a call at (931) 527-3158.
